Destruction and renewal, a fragrance of opposites. Spring rain paints a pastoral picture, vivid watercolor of fields of daffodils reaching towards the sky while waterlogged crannies hold daffodils that are near collapse, their bloated stems prematurely decaying in the soggy soil. Natural jonquil absolute creates a magnificently wild floral fragrance that is vibrantly green but also lush and vegetal. Notes of fresh, clean lilac, feverish black pepper, acerbic green apple, and juicy black currant create discord, but only for a moment or two as we realize that if we take a step back and look at the big picture, everything is as just it should be.
