Spell 125 takes its name from the most important spell in the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead. Described by the perfumer as "initially unsettling", it begins with sharp, lime-like notes of Siberian pine sap coupled with conspicuous animalic notes that remind us of animal skins. It slowly melts into the wearer's skin with white ambergris, ylang ylang and sandalwood until a darkness emerges in the form of smoky black hemlock. This intentional interplay between light and dark represents the final judgement of the gods. Gorgeous green sacra frankincense weaves its magic throughout the entire fragrance, providing a mysterious sense of ceremony.
A forest fragrance, no doubt, with the crunch of dried pine needles underfoot. Out of all the Papillon fragrances, this one is the most resinous, denoted by the visible coating of resins within our sample vials. We believe Spell 125 will disarm and enchant you.
