EAU DE PARFUM
Family: Resinous woody
Perfumer: Marina Barcenilla
Year: 2011
Notes: Patchouli, sandalwood, frankincense, rose, jasmine, cinnamon, rosewood
The patchouli smells as though it were freshly picked. As part of the mint family, it retains a delicately mentholated tone. Devoid of balsams or vanillic sweetness, Patchouli Clouds plays up floral and woody notes to create a beautifully androgynous fragrance that offers complexity but still retains a quality of earthy, naturalistic simplicity. Within the fragrance are multiple patchoulis, sandalwood and rose oils. A fascinating tribute to this “dirty” herb. This fragrance is a tribute to the perfumer's mother who loved patchouli and wore Dior's Poison.
