Mayura opens with a flash of creamy tuberose and white florals coupled with a massive dose of animalics. As the fragrance smolders on the skin, an incense rose comes forward, just barely dusted with spice. Dark woody notes including oud, real Mysore sandalwood, ruh khus (a variety of wild vetiver), and a musky base will continue to pique the interest of fans of animalic orientals well into the drydown.
When the peacock spreads its feathers and does its dance, its feathers provide a glorious, shimmering show for those lucky enough to witness it. Mayura captures the spirit of this most majestic and sacred bird of the Hindu faith.
