A fragrance of strong character, Bing Ma Yong caught us off-guard with a cloud of ancient dust settling on mossy stones. The scent profile of dry terracotta is palpable. Floral notes soon become apparent, dark and rich, like red rose, yet they smell more diffusive and vibrant. Bitter leather and a hearty dose of vetiver toughen the up the fragrance, while Auphorie's seamless blend of animalics provide a vintage twist.
At first glance Bing Ma Yong might sound extremely masculine, but there are enough elements in it that make it quite wearable for any gender. It's another masterful fragrance from Auphorie. We think that fans of intensely animalic fragrances such as Mayura and Binturong might get excited over this one if they have been wanting something with more traditionally masculine touches.
